Aynabaji receives uncut censor
Talented television commercial maker Amitabh Reza Chowdhury’s debut directorial project ‘Aynabaji’ has passed its first step after emerging from Bangladesh Censor Board’s room, uncut.

Director Amitabh Reza himself confirmed the news with a Facebook post on his official account.

He wrote, “Aynabaji censored” and attached two pictures with it.

He said, “It is wonderful to get an uncut censor card from the board. We, the members of the team are having a good time, but at the same time we are a bit tense. It’s a huge responsibility, as the audience has high expectations.”

Aynabaji is a psychological crime thriller boasting a cast of the brilliant Chanchal Chowdhury, the neat Masuma Rahman Nabila, powerful Partho Barua, veteran Sohel Rana and an excellent Gausul Alam Shaon. It also stars Lutfar Rahman, Brindaban Das, Ezaz Bari, Heera Chowdhury, Shawkat Osman and Khairul Basar. The film is produced under the banner of Content Matters Production. The movie’s screenplay is written by Anam Biswas and the famous ‘Think Tank’ ad writer Gousul Alam Shaon, based on the script and idea by Shaon himself. The executive producer of this film is Esha Yousuf and it will be presented by Half Stop Down Ltd.

‘Aynabaji’ has gripping cinematography with some stunning shots and super sound effects. The song sequences have been done by Fuad, Arnob, Habib and Band Chirkutt.

Aynabaji is a film about an actor. Ayna is gifted with the natural talent of acting; he is an interchangeable man and can morph into anyone he wants. One of the crucial aspects of this film is the Dark side of Dhaka (Metro) life. It’s a story about Dhaka city and how dark it can get. Generally a lot of stories are narrated but stories buried deep in Dhaka’s belly are told hardly. So, this film has tried its best to try to touch that sensitive core.

Ayna lives alone and runs a theater group with small children. One day he steps outside his boundary to earn his livelihood. He learns that he has to be someone else to earn a livelihood. Gradually the protagonist gets entrapped in the city but fails.

The Reza-Chanchal duo looks promising as Amitabh Reza is considered as the most talented TV commercial directors of our country and on the other hand, it goes without saying that proficient actor Chanchal has always been fortunate when it comes to movies. Chanchal starrer ‘Monpura’ was one of the most successful movies of Dhallywood.
